The Noordmolen mill in Sint Nicolaasga is in great need of repair. Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen is working hard to restore the mill to its former glory, but the organisation can use some help from the public.

The Noordmolen mill is a national monument. The mill was built in 1850 and has been in continuous operation until 2013. The mill was in need of repair, and in 2018, Stichting De Noordmolen was established to restore the mill. The foundation has already raised a lot of money, but the restoration is still more than a million euros short.

Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen has now launched a campaign to raise the remaining money. The organisation hopes to raise the money through crowdfunding and subsidies. The crowdfunding campaign has already raised more than 60,000 euros.

In addition to the crowdfunding campaign, Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen is also organising a number of events to raise money for the restoration of the Noordmolen mill. One of these events is the ‘Stem voor de Noordmolen’ campaign.

The ‘Stem voor de Noordmolen’ campaign is a voting campaign in which the public can vote for the Noordmolen mill. The mill with the most votes will receive a financial contribution from the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds. The public can vote for the Noordmolen mill until September 6th.
