Chad McQueen, Star of ‘The Karate Kid’, Dies at 63
Chadwick Steven McQueen, the eldest son of actor Steve McQueen, has died at the age of 63.
Chad McQueen died Monday in Billings, Montana, from complications of a heart attack, according to his publicist.
McQueen began his acting career in the 1978 war film "The Boys from Brazil", going on to appear in films such as “The Karate Kid”, “The Blob”, “Piranha”, and “Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo”.
McQueen had a recurring role as Josh Randall, Jr. on the TV series “The Rifleman” in the early 1980s.
His last role was in the 2015 film "The Last Inhabitant".
Chad McQueen was an avid martial artist, a licensed private investigator, and a pilot.
Chad McQueen was raised in Santa Monica, California and Santa Barbara County.
He is survived by his wife, Mindy; three children, Chad Jr., Kaylan, and Madison; and three grandchildren.
