Chad McQueen, ‘The Karate Kid’ Actor and Son of Steve McQueen, Dies at 63

Chad McQueen passed away at his home in Montana on Saturday, December 21, 2023. He was 63 years old.

The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

McQueen was best known for his role as Dutch, the karate student taught by Mr. Miyagi, played by Noriyuki "Pat" Morita, in the 1984 film "The Karate Kid."

Son of Legendary Actor Steve McQueen

Chad McQueen was the son of legendary actor Steve McQueen and actress Neile Adams. He was born in Los Angeles on December 28, 1959.

McQueen began his acting career in the early 1980s, appearing in films such as "The Karate Kid," "Electric Dreams," and "The Blob."

In addition to his acting career, McQueen was also a successful race car driver.

McQueen is survived by his wife, Rebecca, and two children.
