One of the biggest additions is forward Napheesa Collier, who was acquired in a trade with the Atlanta Dream. Collier is a two-time All-Star and one of the most versatile players in the league. She can score, rebound, and defend at a high level, and her addition gives the Lynx a much-needed boost in the frontcourt.
The Lynx also lost a key player in guard Moriah Jefferson, who signed with the New York Liberty in free agency. Jefferson was a valuable contributor both on the offensive and defensive ends, and her departure will be a blow to the team.
Despite the loss of Jefferson, the Lynx still have a number of talented players who can step up and fill her role. Aerial Powers is a rising star who has shown flashes of brilliance, and she could be in line for a breakout season in 2024.
Sylvia Fowles is still one of the best defenders in the league, and she will continue to be a force in the paint for the Lynx. Damiris Dantas is a solid all-around player who can contribute in a number of ways.
The Lynx have a good mix of experience and youth, and they should be a contender in the WNBA in 2024.
