SBU busts draft evasion schemes in Odesa, Boryspil, and Bucha
Large-scale military draft evasion schemes have been uncovered in Odesa, Boryspil, and Bucha by Ukraine's Security Service.
Odesa
In Odesa, the heads of the Boryspil and Bucha recruitment centers organized a draft evasion scheme where they charged individuals large sums of money to avoid military service.
Two organizers have been arrested and face 9 years in prison if convicted.

In Boryspil, two military commissars were arrested for accepting over 1 million UAH (approximately $27,000) in bribes from draft-eligible men.
The men were caught red-handed during a search of their offices and face charges that carry a maximum sentence of 12 years in prison.

In Bucha, a 45-year-old man was arrested for allegedly tracking Ukrainian firing positions and passing the information to Russian forces.
The man was detained by Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) on May 9th and faces charges of treason.
