Hannah Waddingham to Lead Cast of BBC's New Animation 'Tiddler'

BBC Announces New Special from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler

The BBC has secured the talents of Hannah Waddingham for the lead role in its upcoming animation special, "Tiddler." The project is a collaboration between the BBC and Magic Light Pictures, and is based on the popular children's book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

"We are thrilled to share our adaptation of this absolute classic Julia and Axel story with families this Christmas," said Lindsay Salt, Director of the BBC. "Hannah Waddingham is the perfect choice to bring Tiddler to life, and we can't wait to see her in this heartwarming role."

The announcement was made by Justin Harp, who wrote, "The BBC and Magic Light Pictures have announced Tiddler, a new animation from the UK's leading picture book creators Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler."
